How to read:

Fret number
What is shown on the right
are called major triads. The
chords are laid out the same
way as a keyboard. (C, C#,
D, D#...etc.) Each chord has
a rootnote such as C in C
chord and D in D chord. The
string marked with a is
the root of the chord.
Minor chords have a little
sadder and melancholic
tonality. The same rule
applies to the roots of the
major chords. By the way, a
chord with # and a chord with
can become the same
chord sometimes, for
example, C = D
